Classie Canines

About Us

Let me introduce myself. My name is Linda Allen and I have enjoyed working with dogs for most of my life. Before opening this long time dream, of a combination Grooming, Boarding and Doggie Daycare, I had a small but thriving grooming shop in Stoughton, called Classie Canines Located inside Lloyd Animal Medical Center. I was there for better than 8 years and learned a great deal in my time there. I have been able to work closely with the Doctors and Technicians whom I admire and deeply respect. I have even been fortunate enough to assists them from time to time. I am grateful for all the experiences they have given me. Each one has been a valuable tool that will allow me to make the new Classie Canines Doggie Daycare, Grooming & Boarding the best it can be.

Before Classie Canines, I spent about 12 years working at a local Kennel where I was able to get a lot of experience in both Dog Grooming and working the Kennel. Each day brought on a new challenge. That is the greatest part about working with dogs, every day is a different dog with his/her own personality, you never know what to expect and you always have to be ready for anything, it keeps you on your toes.

Over the years I have also done and will continue to do a lot of Volunteer and foster work. I have been a foster mom to many cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and even baby squirrels. I enjoy this work very much. You can learn so much from an animal who's start in life was less than perfect. Some of my most important of lives lessons have been learned taking care of these selfless little orphans.

I am married to a very supportive husband, Rob, who is a truck driver for a local liquor distributor and has been employed with the company for over 20 years. We have three great children. My husband and I have a house in East Bridgewater, where we have 4 cats and 5 dogs (3 Boxers and 2 chihuahuas)  of our own.

We will gladly provide you with a list of client and/or professional references.
